Several weeks back, I took a trip out to Bushswick, Brooklyn to have brunch with a good friend. While out in the area, she drove me around to see all the amazing street murals. Unless you live near the area or know someone who does, you’ll most likely never see these pieces of art.

One mural that stood out was a geometry piece by artist Andrea von Bujdoss. Andrea is a New York City based graphic designer & artist. Her studies, BA from Parson School of Design, NYC as well as, continued studies from SVA, NYC. As you will see, there was no way we could have missed this mural. The work just pops off the brick wall.

While driving around the area, Roswitha stopped the car, we hopped out & did a quick but fun photo shoot. In my opinion, I had the perfect ensemble ready for this particular mural. The styling for this photo shoot, lends to todays trend, the crop top & the harem pant but with a silly twist.

As for the styling, once again I was up to my old tricks. I purchased two extremely inexpensive pieces of clothing and made my own 3-D graphic top. This top is a nod to my friend J. Brigham. For some odd reason, many years back, we became slightly obsessed with anything, jewelry or clothing that read, POW! I also give a wink to my friend B. Walasek as I know she’s not the biggest fan of a harem pant.
