It’s 10am Monday morning & I could use another 8 hours of sleep still. Busy weekend, jam-packed with nothing but fun fun fun. Activities ranged from drinks after work, sailing lessons, brunch, dining el fresco & more cocktails to bring a close to the weekend.
Loving the work of mixologist, Bearded Alchemist . His cocktails can be enjoyed on the Upper East Side at The Jeffrey. Don’t you just love when you can say, surprise me with something lite, notes of citrus, gin based, that is effervescent and BAM! Liquid delight.
Early morning rise for my sailing lessons with the Manhattan Sailing School. Totally worth it! Sometimes scary, other times tranquil, such as gazing across the water at fellow classmates. (I’m sure my arms will be in a little pain today).
With my company knowing I’d be downtown in Battery Park sailing, they made reservations at one of my favorite places on the water, Gigino at Wagner Park . As usual, he always get it right! It was a the picture perfect day with clear sky’s, pleasant temps, good food, tasty drinks and amazing company.

Always such a pleasure to dine el fresco. What a beautiful night to watch the sun set on the surrounding buildings. Some of you may be thinking, why an electrical grill? Well here in Manhattan, you’re not permitted to have gas grills on your balcony, patio, promenade, rooftop or garden… unless you sneak it in. This little baby does an excellent job. (So does the chef).
