For the last two consecutive weekends, we’ve celebrated Germany and its delights.
Last weekend we ventured out to Greenpoint, Brooklyn to partake in games & beverages at Spritzenhaus33. For once I was on time or should I say, early. This was actually to my benefit, as we were able to grab a few tables and I was able to take a photos before the venue filled up.
Fortunately the Brooklyn hipster is too consumed with being cool and doesn’t really care if you put your feet up on the table. Yes yes, my mother would tell me I’m being rude and to take my feet down. But my mother wasn’t there.
This weekend we celebrated German-American Oktoberfest, Steuben Day Event for the 5th year in a row. I was fortunate enough to get tickets as the event sold out within 2 1/2 hours this year. As usual, our friend McCarthy got on line at noon and when the gates open at 1pm, he sprinted in and grabbed a table for the group. Thanks McCarthy! Always great weather and always a fun time. (after party included)
