Like most girls, I’ve always had a few pieces of leather in my closet. However recently, I’ve been acquiring more and more leather pieces. I’m not sure what’s come over me. I suppose it’s the feel and smell that gets me.

At my most recent time of purchase, I wasn’t in the market for a dress. I was on one of my favorite sites looking at jewelry (rings). Not surprising that my attention was short-lived and I ended up looking at clothing. It was only a few minutes after that, that there was an item sitting in my shopping cart. I can’t tell you how excited I was for this leather dress to arrive. Oh, and that ring, I purchased it as well.

If you’re like me and have a challenging figure to fit, leather pieces can be really problematic. I’m 5’11 and have a fuller chest in comparison to my waist and hips. Because of this, I ordered a medium and when it arrived, I pulled out my sewing machine to alter the waistline and hip area. To my delight, in doing so, it created a semi skater skirt hemline.
