I believe that, if there’s a piece hanging in your closet for over a year and you haven’t removed tags, toss it. So happy I don’t always practice what I preach.

I purchased this dress well over a year ago. I picked it up because I loved the strong color and accent zipper. So why did I allow it to hang there for so long? I really don’t have a good answer for you.

So a few weeks ago, we decided to have a girls night out. (Though one person brought their husband, there’s always one that can’t be alone). We gathered at The NoMad Hotel, in the Elephant Room. In knowing just how dark this bar is, there was no way I was going to wear black. For some reason, on this particular night, I opened my closet doors and this dress seemed to jump in to my hands.

What was once old, is now new again.
