Several weeks back, I went to Lincoln Center to hear the extremely talented Lisa Batiashvili perform with The New York Philharmonic. In all my years of going to see the Philharmonic, I’ve never attended a pre-concert insight (PCI) session. Nope, never! So this particular evening was going to include an extra treat….PCI, here we come.
Problem, dinner beforehand had a hiccup. Our table didn’t become free until 20min after the reserved time. Well, that completely threw off the night. How late were we running? So late that we decided to just skip the PCI. Nevertheless, we were there in plenty of time for the actual performance, whew!
What did I wear? A piece I haven’t worn since last November, when on holiday in Japan. It was time for the tulle to come back out the closet.
