Back up at our ski house for yet another long weekend. Oh I’m not complaining, just saying. I love going up to the house. It’s relaxing in one aspect yet wild and super fun on the other.
Question, is there ever a need for a black tie gown in Vermont? Answer, not that I know of. In all of my years of going up there, winter/spring/summer/fall, I’ve never seen anyone dressed up. NEVER! Not even casually stylish in a nice dark rinse skinny jean. Then again, why would they. I totally get it. However that doesn’t stop me from packing one of my favorite gowns.
This gown in particular was gifted to me a few years. I love it now, just as much as I did when it was first delivered to my door. It took several days but once I was done with all the alterations, I was ready to walk the red carpet (in my head).

On the property behind our house is a well. So cute. I’m not even sure if it’s working but who cares.
I almost face-planted. I guess I haven’t mastered the art of walking in a gown & 2 feet of snow.
