When shopping online or in the stores and you see the word EXCLUSIVE, don’t you feel as though the piece was made specifically for you? I do.
Sam Edelman, I’ve always been a fan of his sandals. However, I’ve never seen his line being sold at Saks Fifth Avenue. To my delight, Sam designed a line exclusively for Saks this season. Surprise surprise, an extremely modest price point at this luxury retail giant.
What else surprised me recently? Ann Taylor. I never shop there. I mean never! That is until a few weeks ago.
Little over a month ago, I was talking with a co-worker who has also been gifted with height. She informed me that they have a few cute pieces and that they also carry, tall. Immediately I went online to see for myself. I found a piece perfect for frolicking around town over the weekend. Dress: Here at Ann Taylor in Tall | Shoes: Sam Edelman, Exclusively at Saks Fifth Avenue | Sunglasses: Ray-Ban | Watch: Raymond Weil | Bracelets: David Yurman, Kiel James Patrick, Jcrew | Tote: L.L. Bean – Monogrammed
Talls are sold exclusively online at Ann Taylor (A.T.). I pulled an amateur shoppers move. I don’t know anything about A.T. and so I should have looked at the sizing guide. But nooooo. What happened next? I slipped on the dress and it was swimming on me. No worries. Pin, stitch, cut & done.
I was surprised to see some new changes in Amagansett this year. Does the Hamptons need another Intermix? Another Calypso? I guess so. (Get ready girls, they’re coming soon). New construction, well this is a different look for the area.
If you’re going to be in the Hamptons for the weekend, consume as much tasty food as your body will allow.
