As you’ve probably observed, I’m by no means a slave to trends. Some trends I deliberately stay away from. I mean, if you grew up wearing argyle, fair isle, boat shoes and/or Jack Rogers sandals, then it’s not a trend to you. If you’re like me and grew up on the North Shore of Long Island, or other similar areas on the east coast, then these pieces were staples in your closet.
On the other hand, there are trends I stay away from, purely out of fear. Fear I’ll look like I’m trying too hard to be on trend. Fear of looking awkward as a tall (5’11) girl. Fear the trend will be over before I even have a chance to cut the tag off.
That being said, yes, I’m completely late to the game when it comes to owning a cocoon coat. Don’t stone me, I’m here and I love it.
